All of these are key components of a successful charity operation. However, at childrenswish.org, we believe that your support is what makes our efforts successful. More than anything, we would love to close our doors because there were no more sick children in the world. Unfortunately, we will not see that happen in our lifetimes. What we do know is that we can provide gifts for sick children to try and bring them some measure of joy. Through the resources at our disposal, we can grant a wish - a unique, once in a lifetime experience - to sick dying children. While we cannot take away the pain, we believe we can temper it with joy. The Children's Wish Foundation has been recognized nationwide as one of the best charities - reputable and reliable. However, we realize that we would be absolutely nothing without the support of dedicated donors and volunteers. We cannot thank our supporters enough, and both we and the children we help owe them everything.

When a child suffers, their family suffers as well. There is nothing comparably painful for a parent than watching a child go through severe illness. Even more difficult for them is the sharing of the heart wrenching stories of sick children after they have passed. Their words are hard to hear, but it is necessary that we listen to them. We need to appreciate the struggles of those in need in order to be compelled to help. The Children's Wish Foundation gives families the opportunities to share their struggles with the world, and shows the world how to help parents with a sick child. The experiences of parents, grandparents, and siblings who have watched their child relative suffer with illness are inspiring. While childrenswish.org does provide material gifts for sick children, we also provide them and their family with an even greater gift. We provide ears to listen, open arms to hug, and tears of compassion.
